Bob Trevino likes being inspired by the true friendship that writer/director Tracie Laymon found with a stranger in search of his father online. Often playing the role of caregiver for people like her father, who should take care of her, Lily Trevino longs for a family link when her mother left her as a child, and then suddenly her father in the twenties. Bob Trevino works long hours alone in a construction company to support his wife, Janny Scrapbooking. The couple has passed a lot in the last decade, and Bob has tried to put his wife in the first place to ignore his feelings and the need for friendship, meaning and connection-it is until he gets an unexpected Facebook report from a stranger. Lily and Bob’s flowering friendship becomes an essential source of bond and healing in both of their lives. Bob’s little father’s kindness fills the family’s emptiness in the lily’s life and keeps the strength to change their direction forever. In their own way, these two have to learn that they are worthy of extraordinary love shown with little kindness.
